About the Position
- To manage and ensure the up keep of the entire fleet.
- To manage the services as well as all the work that is carried out on a specific vehicle.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Management of the overall condition of the vehicles in the fleet
- The capture and management of vehicle fuel consumptions as well as the planning of refuelling
- Managing all aspects related to the servicing of the vehicles within the fleet
- Reporting on work-in-progress related to the workshops
- Daily fleet planning, ensuring that all vehicles are supplied as per the customers requirement.
- Pre- and post-trip inspections with regards to logbooks.
- Management of tyres and all related costs.
- Regular inspections on cleanliness of vehicles when drivers return from deliveries and also how the vehicles are loaded when returning back to site after deliveries.
- Dispatch of vehicles
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Fully computer literate.
- 2-3 years experience in a Transport environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to start by 6am
