Based at the Oxford University Press’ offices in Goodwood, Cape Town, the Publishing Internship role is responsible for carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:

• Publishing processes from start to end
• Edit and proofread principles
• Book design and preparation
• Budget management, project management, and scheduling
• Engaging freelancers, rates, and contracts
• Sourcing artworks e.g. illustrations and photographs
• Digital publishing (i.e. online course materials, pubs)

Who should apply?

Applicants must be able to satisfy these basic eligibility requirements to apply for the role:

• Holds a BA diploma or degree in Humanities
• A South African citizen
• Has access to a reliable transport
• Knowledgeable with computers and MS Office productivity tools
