Introduction
The Purpose of the Internship programme is to offer UJ graduates ﴾degree/diploma﴿who have no previous working experience the opportunity to obtain practical workplaceexperience and exposure.
Job description
The Programme will offer opportunities for unemployed graduates to gain beneficial
university‐based experience in a range of areas that can improve their readiness foremployment and open career pathways that may not have been available without thework experience.
It is also an opportunity to potentially identify future talent for potential employment.
Minimum requirements
Criteria for selection of candidates:
Graduates must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Not studying full time ﴾preferably attending after hours classes﴿.
Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
Have not participated in any Learnership/Internship programme before.
Be willing to commit to the Internship for the period of 6 months.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ﴾MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR APPLICATION﴿:
A detailed Curriculum Vitae.
Certified copies of academic records.
Certified copy of ID.
Proof of registration with Professional Body ﴾where applicable﴿.
Your application, comprising of a detailed Curriculum Vitae as well as the names and fullcontact details ﴾including telephone numbers and e‐mail addresses﴿ of at least threetraceable and credible referees must be uploaded before or on the closing date of the advertised post.
