What is the Sportscene Learnership 2023?
The Sportscene Learnership 2023 is a program designed to provide on-the-job training and development for individuals interested in pursuing a career in retail.
As a learner, you’ll have the opportunity to work for one of South Africa’s leading retail brands and gain valuable experience in areas such as customer service, sales, and merchandising.
The program is open to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements and are committed to learning and growing in the retail industry.
Requirements:
- Aged between 18 to 28 years old
- Grade 10 minimum
- Available and willing to work a fixed term 12month contract
- Should not have
been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than 1 year - Should not be studying full time in the year of employment (June 23 – May 24)
- Should not have participated or been registered on the YES programme before
- Accommodation and transportation for the applicants own account (if applicable)
What kind of training and development will be provided?
The Sportscene Learnership 2023 provides on-the-job training and development in various areas of retail, including customer service, sales, and merchandising.
The skills and knowledge gained during the learnership can also be applied to other industries, such as hospitality or customer service. The program is designed to provide you with a strong foundation for a successful career in retail, and the opportunities are endless.
