Job Description:

The Driver Messenger is accountable for ensuring that the government of South Africa receives transport services that are both reliable and secure. The primary responsibility of this function is

to transport government officials, staff members, and guests to various locations while maintaining their safety and assuring their comfort. In addition to driving, the Driver Messenger is responsible for performing messenger tasks, which may include delivering official documents, packages, and other goods as directed.

Responsibilities:

-Get government officials, staff, and guests to their destinations safely and on time, making sure to follow all traffic rules and safety standards.

-Make sure the government car is clean, well-kept, and looks good by getting it inspected, serviced, and fixed as needed on a regular basis.

-Follow the planned routes and times, making changes as needed to account for changes and make sure everyone gets there on time.

– When asked, help load and unload bags, packages, and other things.

– Maintain a polite and professional attitude when talking to people to make sure they have a good time.

-Always follow security rules and make sure people are safe, such as making sure they wear their seat belts correctly and following government security rules.

–Do messenger work, which includes getting official papers, packages, and other things for people who need them and delivering them on time.

-Take care of administrative tasks that are related to driving and being a messenger, like keeping correct records of mileage, fuel use, vehicle maintenance, and delivery logs.

services. Valid Code 10 driver’s licence and valid PDP.
