Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 certificate
- At least 12 months' experience as a general worker in waste management
- South African citizen
- No criminal record
- Physically and mentally fit for the job
- Preference given to City of Johannesburg residents with proof of residence
Duties
- Street cleaning and litter collection
- Refuse removal and loading waste onto collection vehicles
- Emptying refuse bins
- Cleaning public spaces and informal settlements
- Delivering and handling refuse bins
- Following health and safety procedures
- Performing general waste management activities as assigned
