About Sea Harvest
Founded in 1964 by Pescanova (a Spanish company) in Saldanha Bay off South Africa’s Atlantic West Coast. The company merged with Cold Storage and Southern Sea Fishing Enterprises and now has grown into a recognized brand in the fish category. Operating in South Africa and Australia, Sea Harvest’s primary business is fishing for shark bay prawns, horse mackerel, cape hake, anchovies, pilchards and various farmed species as well as processing their haul into chilled and frozen seafood. These frozen products are marketed both locally and internationally to 22 countries around the world.
Sea Harvest Graduate Programme
In line with the company’s goal of attracting and developing young talent, Sea Harvest makes this possible by offering a 12-month graduate internship programme. The focus is on empowering new graduates who have what it takes by providing them with a wide range of growth and employment opportunities within the company. This graduate internship role is based in Sea Harvest’s Saldhana Bay Rural offices in Western Cape.
Who should apply?
Applicants must meet these basic requirements to be considered eligible to submit an application:
- BCom in Accounting
- BTech/BEng in Industrial Engineering
- BSc in Food Science
- BTech in Food Technology
- BTech in Internal Audit
- No work experience
- Have not joined any previous internships or graduate programmes
