Time & attendance

  • Be on time & prepared for your shift.
  • Ensure clocking in & out procedures are adhered to.

Ensure planned/unplanned absence from work is correctly communicated to management, as per company policy.

Guest satisfaction

  • Ensure each & every guest is treated like a king.
  • Ensure 5 service steps are followed with every guest.
  • Ensure guest complaints and comments are promptly reported to management.
  • Ensure all ingredients and products are fresh and made correctly.
  • Ensure all guest contact areas are kept neat and hygienic.
  • Ensure every guest leaves with a smile and happy to return.

Ensure they drive Guest trac survey responses

Stock control

  • Ensure every menu item is prepared per the recipes, ingredient quantities are correct.
  • Ensure the fresh-ready system is followed.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation is followed (FIFO).
  • Reduce waste by monitoring stock freshness and report any issues promptly to management.

Follow the BK® cook and discard system and/or management instructions to reduce waste

Health & safety/hygiene

  • Ensure uniform is clean, in good condition and worn as prescribed
  • Report any health and safety concerns promptly to management; including equipment issues
  • Ensure hand wash procedures are followed at all times – be a “hand hygiene champion”

Ensure the restaurant and work environment is kept clean and hygienic by following “clean-as-you-go”

Delivery of quality products

  • Monitor raw ingredients before preparation and report any sub-standard items promptly to management.
  • Ensure menu items are always prepared with the best and freshest ingredients.
  • Do not be afraid to waste sub-standard produce to ensure best quality menu items offered to guests.
  • Follow a culture of “fresh is best” and promote it amongst fellow team members.
  • Ensure ingredient and product time management procedures are followed.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to communicate with guests and coworkers in a friendly enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Ability to work irregular hours and shifts
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Presentable and fluent in english
